Trummelsberg is reached via highway 66. About 5.4 kilometers north of Virsboavtaget follow signs for Trummelsberg. After about 4.4 kilometers you will arrive at Trummelsberg and the visitor parking where the car can be parked.

To find your way to the nature reserve, follow the Bruksleden trail markings west. After about 120 meters the trail turns north. You then leave Trummelsbergsvägen and follow Bruksleden towards the reserve.

It is prohibited to:

• dig, cut, carve, paint or otherwise damage the surface of the ground or solid natural objects such as rocks and boulders
• break branches, cut down or damage living or dead trees and bushes
• pick, dig up or damage mushrooms, lichens, mosses, herbs or other plants, except for the picking of single specimens. Berries and edible mushrooms may be picked for domestic use,
• collecting insects or other invertebrates, except for single individuals for species identification
• driving and parking motorized vehicles and trailers, except for boating.

In addition, it is prohibited without the permission of the County Administrative Board:

• put up a board, sign, poster or permanently mark tracks,
• use the area, with the exception of Bruksleden, for organized competitions or exercises, camps or similar activities where the number of participants exceeds 200 people.
