Silvtjärn ligger fyra kilometer väster om Norberg. Kör från Norberg centrum på väg 68 mot Örebro. Kör cirka 5 kilometer. Sväng höger när det kommer en grusväg på höger sida, där du kan se en telemast. Kör 1,3 kilometer till parkeringen.

There are rules that you as a visitor must follow. The rules are there to protect the area's natural values.

It is forbidden to:

• dig, hack, carve, paint or otherwise damage the surface of the ground or other fixed natural objects,
• felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees and shrubs, and damaging vegetation or natural objects in general, for example by burning dead wood, collecting herbs, grasses, mosses, fungi or lichens, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms for domestic use,
• horse riding
• cycling outside the Bruksleden trail system or on it to an extent that risks causing long-term soil damage,
• collecting insects or other invertebrates
• collecting or deliberately killing or injuring amphibians and reptiles
• climbing trees or otherwise intentionally disturbing wildlife
• put up a board, sign, poster or permanently mark out tracks
• introducing new plant or animal species into the area. Exceptions apply to fish, which may only be released with the written permission of the property owner.
