Silverstigen

Along the Silver Trail you can learn about the history of the area. Eleven different information boards tell you about the different mines and how the work was done. Some parts of the Silver Trail are wide, flat and graveled, while other parts are narrow and crossed by roots. The Silver Trail has no markings in nature and some information boards are located in the forest some distance from the paths.

There is a clearly marked mountain bike trail in the area that connects Aspenstorp with the adjacent Mergölen nature reserve and the Sala silver mine. Keep in mind that the mountain bike trail crosses and sometimes shares the route with the Silver Trail, so pedestrians and cyclists coexist here.
