Unique ancient remains environment with Norrland's largest large mound, a rune stone, an early medieval church ruin and a burial ground with several large mounds. Fornstigen offers an easy walk of about 1.7 km, with signs along the way. At the entrance there is a permanent exhibition that tells the long history of the area. How land uplift has changed the landscape and how the site has been used by people for several thousand years. From the exhibition you can look out over the area and think about how it once looked. Tours of the plastic are organized by Sundsvall Museum by appointment.
