Beskrivelse
Hidden in the beautiful and lush deciduous forest in Klampenborg are traces of earlier human activity, both from the early Iron Age and from an entire sawmill community that has existed here. Today, nature has taken over and most of the island consists of lush deciduous forest, including maple and elm. Bird life is rich, as is the vegetation. It is a municipal nature reserve with a number of hiking trails and barbecue areas.
