Tåmeådalens FVO

The Tåmeådalen fishing conservation area includes the entire stretch of the Tåmeån River, from the Gulf of Bothnia all the way up to the northern part of Finnträsket. In addition, the entire Långsjöbäcken stream that flows from Långsjön down to Tåmeträsket. In the larger lakes in the area, there is an abundant population of pike, perch, roach and bream. In addition, there are whitefish in Tåmeträsket, Långsjön, Långsjötjärn and Nölavan. The intervening stream waters are spawning and nursery areas for pike, perch, roach, trout and grayling.
