Storkittelhobben/ Kungsliftens toppled

Kungsliften's summit trail takes you from the Hemavan Gondola up to the highest point in the ski area - Storkittelhobben 1135 m. Perfect tour for young and old adventurers or for those who want to do an easier summit tour.

The trail starts at the top station of the Hemavan Gondola and winds its way up from there. A first stop should be made at Storkitteltjärn, which is a nice picnic area with a windbreak. After the pond, the path becomes steeper but the effort quickly pays off in miles of views.

For those who do not want or have the opportunity to ride the Hemavan Gondola, there is also the opportunity to start the hike at Naturum Vindelfjällen Hemavan and follow the King's Trail to the Gondola's top station, about 3 km one way, then the trail to Storkittelhobben takes on, another 2 km one way.

The tour is 2 km one way starting from the top station of Hemavan Gondola. The round trip from the Gondola top station takes about 2-3 hours.
