Stora Bygdeträsket FVOF

Stora Bygdeträsket's Fish Conservation Area covers 7,000 hectares of water in the forested areas of Burträsk parish. The area is crossed by national road 364, which connects the cities of Umeå and Skellefteå. Service towns in the area are Bygdsiljum and Burträsk with a bank, post office, shops, camping, health center and all the services required to get around. Fishing waters of the most diverse kinds, from small, inconspicuous streams to Västerbotten's largest lake, Stora Bygdeträsket, which offers you as an angler a variety of opportunities to pursue the type of fishing that interests you, with the typical fish species for the area such as pike, perch, grayling and trout.
