Lillbergforsen

Take a hike in beautiful and varied nature towards Lillbergforsen and Fjällån in Dorotea.

The trail is easy to walk and runs mostly on well-trodden paths through sparse pine forest where the light filters down. Here and there the landscape opens up to large marshlands where you can pick cloudberries in late summer. The trail is tracked across the bogs. Take the opportunity to look for forest birds, moose and bears on your hike.

Once you reach Fjällån, there is a windbreak and barbecue area where you can enjoy your packed lunch and listen to the roar of Lillbergsforsens. Fjällån also offers good fishing. Note that in connection with high water in Fjällån, the shelter can be flooded.

The trail starts at Bergvattensjön's T-bridge for a hike of about 9 kilometers. For the first part of the hike, follow the Sjöslingan trail along Bergvattensjön in any direction.

You can also start at the end of Byvägen, at the far end of Bergvattensjön, and then get a shorter trip of about 4 km. However, parking is very limited here.
