Storängens camping is situated in Ransäter, next to river Klarälven, in the heart of Värmland. A family-friendly campsite close to activities and attractions.

Storängens Camping offers something for everyone – stay in a cabin, traditional campsite pitch, or a safari tent for a more unique experience.

The cabins are equipped with convenient kitchenettes including a refrigerator, hotplates, dishes, and cookware. Bed linen is available for rent to make the stay even more comfortable.

The safari tents are located at the front of the campsite, offering stunning views of the river Klarälven and an unforgettable close-to-nature experience, perfect for those seeking both adventure and relaxation.

The campsite features a total of 99 pitches with electricity, as well as plenty of space for guests camping without power.A modern service building provides access to a washing machine, dryer, and kitchen – everything needed for a smooth and comfortable stay.

Storängen offers activities for both children and adults. You may go for a swim in the river, fishing, canoeing or go on a beaver safari. There is also a service store, canteen, playground, barbeque area etcetera.

In the vicinity of Storängen campsite you'll find the cycle path Klarälvsbanan and Ransäters hembygdsgård (Homestead Museum) which during the summer hold many large events, such as one of the worlds largest accordion festivals and the anual dog show.

It is only 10 kilometers to Munkfors and approximately 30 kilometers to Sunne. Enjoy the beautiful nature, large forests and many lakes.
