Led Gillertjärn

The hiking trail starts with a long uphill drive through managed forest before reaching the nature reserve, but the approach is worth the effort. Once inside the nature reserve, a nice trail leads around Gillertjärnen itself, which lies like an eye in the dark forest. North of the pond, it is possible to climb a few more meters to a viewpoint to see the view of the surrounding landscape. The first bit from the parking lot at Finnsjön can be difficult to find without a map.
