First Camp Herrgårdsliv – Kristinehamn

Four-star campsite with newly built cottages, cabins and space for motor homes located next to Lake Vänern Bay, 3 km from Kristinehamn town center. Presterud Manor can be rented for different events.

Located in the heart of the popular tourist route leading to the Picasso Statue and the archipelago, this camping site offers large, terraced pitches, most of which enjoy evening sun and views over the Vålösundet waterway. There is an electric vehicle charging station and parking for visitors.

Choose between grass or gravel pitches, with or without electricity. Available for motorhomes, caravans, and tents.In addition, there are basic unpowered pitches outside the campsite area, located on a gravel lot. These pitches do not include waste disposal or water filling services.

68 cabins of different sizes and standards – from basic camping cabins to newly built cabins with shower, toilet, kitchen, and large terraces. The newest ones, called Vänerbyn, were built in spring 2025 and are located right by the water in the campsite's harbor area!All cabins can be booked. You can also add extras like final cleaning, bed linen, and towels. Pets are allowed in all cabin areas for an extra fee of 120 SEK.

A large cabin located at the southern end of the campsite, by the water. It features five bedrooms and can accommodate up to 18 people.Bookings for this cabin are made by phone and cannot be done online.

Canoe rentals are available, with the option to paddle along Vålösundet or around Vålön (life jackets included).

The campsite is located near Kristinehamn Arena, Lek & Luft (indoor play center), and Skymningens swimming area. During peak summer, daily children's activities are held through the campsite's Kids Club.

This historic manor, with its attached park and pier, is available to rent for weddings, family reunions, corporate gatherings, and balls etc. Two suits for accomodation are included in the rental of the manor.
