Ekenäsleden

Welcome to the southern tip of Värmland, Ekenäs. Here is a nice and easy-to-walk trail that extends around the cape Ladholmen. The trail starts at Ekenäs camping. The first part of the trail to Ladholmen is very easy to walk with footbridges and even surfaces, the eastern part has more roots and narrow sections.

Along the trail you will find several lovely viewpoints, from Ladholmen out over the Lurö archipelago. An even more fantastic and magnificent view is available at Solhuvudsudden. From here there is an extensive view of Lake Vänern, the Lurö archipelago, Djurö National Park in the east and Kinnekulle in the south. Don't miss the stunningly beautiful Åkershus bathing area.
