Arvika Stadspark

The beautiful Stadsparken in Arvika was created in 1913 and has much left from that time. In addition to the winding walkways and large trees, there is also a bird pond, a fountain, Silverallén and a pergola covered with wild boar that is 82 meters long, which is one of the longest in Europe.

Christian Eriksson's sculpture "Summer Dip" and Arvid Knöppel's "Hind with Kid" are placed in the park, as well as a bust of Per Andersson, the founder of Arvikaverk. Although the park is over a hundred years old, it is also modern, as the park administration makes a flower program on a theme every year. Arvika Stadspark was park of the year 2019 and tourist destination of the year in the category parks and gardens 2015.
