A magical forest in the middle of the city! Walk along the troll path and feel yourself transported to the world of fairy tales. The ground is covered with a soft carpet of moss. Wasn't there something moving behind the tree? If you dare to leave the path, you can go in search of berries or mushrooms!
Trollskogen is part of the Stadsskogen nature reserve. Since the end of the 1960s, the forest has been left to look after itself. Dead trees are left on the ground to the delight of beetles and other insects. No felling takes place. The site is now developing into a real natural forest.
Trollskogen in Stadsskogen is one of Uppsala County's natural treasures. A nature spot is an area with high natural and outdoor values that is accessible to visitors.

Rutevejledning
To find the troll forest, you need to bring a map from the entrance to Stadsskogen. The nearest parking lot is at Gläntan along Norbyvägen. It is signposted P Linné. From here you walk about 800 m along a Linnaeus trail to Trollskogen.
