Smultronställe Rossholm

Rossholm is a beautiful little village by the sea. There are marked paths that take you through the village or the forest out to the sea. Take a leaflet at the parking lot and read more about Rossholm's plants and nature.

The paths lead you to three different places by the sea, Immarviken, Rossholmsberget and Kranselberget. They have slightly different characters but have in common that there are views and nice cliffs.

All trails start from the parking lot at the military tower. The path to Kranselberget and Rossholmsberget follows the gravel road through the village. You can catch a glimpse of the sea at the end of the road, and you can get there with a pram. Otherwise, the paths in the area are simple forest paths where larger shoes are recommended. Both at Kranselberget, in the west, and at Rossholmsberget, in the east, the path ends outside the cliffs with views of the open sea. Both viewpoints are about 1 km from the parking lot.

Try to follow the cliffs between Rossholmsberget and Immarviken. From there you can follow the trail all the way to Kapplasse nature reserve.

South of the village, a trail (about 700 m) leads around Svilandet. It passes old fields and stone walls. This is the land of butterflies and birds.

Rossholm is one of Uppsala County's nature hotspots. "Smultronställen" are areas with high natural and outdoor values that are accessible to visitors.
