The temple dates from 1996. It was built by the family of Britt-Louise and Martin Lönnebo at Oxten. In 2005 it was donated to the parish and moved to its current location the following year.

Neighbor Doris Asplund contributed by painting grouse, ptarmigan, black-headed gull, corn bunting, small insects, sea eagles, owls, swallows ... Did you know that .... Nature's temple is unique in the world The temple is inspired by the Bible's paradise It is being built at Oxsten, Gräsö by Britt-Louis and Martin Lönnebo Doris Asplund, Gräsö, participated in the decoration The temple building was donated to the Gräsö parish The temple, when the door is closed, is transformed into a viewing cabinet A pilgrimage route The temple-Uppsala Cathedral is planned with the Savior's Wreath as a model.

Hej Rolf. Naturkartan har flyttat ikonen för platsen till sitt (förmodade) rätta ställe, invid Gräsö kyrka. Ser ut som en mycket fin plats, väl värt ett besök.
