Järnboden i Harg

Järnboden is a historic harbor warehouse from 1758 located on a quiet bay. It was used to store iron that had been produced in the Vallon mills.

The iron shed southeast of Harg's mill is a five-story stone building from the mid-18th century built by Harg's mill and the then master builder Raphael Clason Pousette. In its lower floors, the bar iron was stored before it was shipped to the ironworks in Stockholm, in the upper goods that were procured from outside. Today, the ironworks is an exhibition space for art during the summer months.

The hiking trail Vikingaleden passes the Iron Shed.
