Beskrivelse
Björklinge outdoor recreation area is located by Lake Långsjön, 20 kilometers north of Uppsala. There is a popular bathing area with several names: Sandviksbadet, Långsjöbadet or Björklingebadet. The baths have a sandy beach, large open grass areas, a diving tower and barbecue areas. The service building at the baths has changing rooms with showers and toilets and a kiosk that is open during the summer.
Björklinge outdoor area is also a popular place to visit in winter. Ice skating tracks are plowed on the ice, if possible also ski tracks. Just behind the parking lot there is a small ski slope with a button lift and toboggan run.
Along the ridge in the area is a 5 km long lighted trail that starts at the parking lot. In snowy winters you can ski here.

You can get here by bus. Go to the bus stop Björklinge centrum and walk down to the bath. See ul.se for bus numbers and current timetables.
Rutevejledning
Björklinge outdoor area is located at Långsjön, 20 kilometers north of Uppsala.
By car If you come on Gävlevägen, turn east onto Sandbrovägen.
If you come on the E4, turn west, via exit 190, and follow the signs for Sandbrovägen.
By bike If you choose to cycle, there are both local cycle paths and smaller car roads to get around on.
