Kongehaugene ved Monaryggen

Three of the mounds on Edwin Ruud's area are among the largest and most powerful in Indre Østfold. But this collection of large burial mounds may be connected with the establishment of a chiefdom or small kingdom in Indre Østfold in the 5th-6th centuries AD.

There are two information signs by the mounds where you can read more about the burial customs of the Iron Age.
