Beskrivelse
The recreational area has two exercise trails, a lighted trail, a municipal bathing area, two parking lots, a holiday home area, picnic huts, barbecue areas, shelters, tables and benches. The old ski slope is now a toboggan run. Varied forest around the lake, which has a wilderness feel in the western part.
The rest cabins can be booked through the culture and leisure administration and are frequently used by the municipality's schools.

Regional bus 550 Kristianstad - Vånga stops at the stop Arkelstorp Affären , about 4km from the area. See more and search for trips on Skånetrafikens hemsida.
Skåneleden's sub-trail Vattenrikeleden also runs to Arkelstorp.

Lerjevallen is located just over 20km north of Kristianstad and 4km north of Arkelstorp.
