From Östersund take road 87 east. About 17 kilometers after Stugun you drive towards Överammer (road 344). About 600 meters after passing Överammer (before you reach Selsålandet) you turn right. From here you drive about 13 kilometers to the northern part of Köttsjön. From the main road, head east for about 150 meters and you will reach the Länglingsån information board.

Welcome to Länglingsån. Keep in mind that it is not allowed within the reserve:

• catch, disturb or harm river pearl mussels, mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damaging their nests and spawning grounds or collecting eggs,
• picking and collecting species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
• panning for gold or other substances
• climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 m to a bird of prey's nest, lair or roost
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires, other than with firewood, and
• drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
