Protected since: 1983. New demarcation in 2025.

Size: 9.6 hectares of which land 8.1 hectares.

Character: archipelago, cultural environment, meadows.

Trustee: County Administrative Board of Stockholm

Form of protection: Nature reserve.

Långviksskär is accessible by private boat or taxi boat. There is no regular boat service to the island.

As a guest in the reserve you are not allowed:

1. damage the seabed or lake bed, rock, soil, boulders or stones by, for example, drilling, carving or painting
2. remove or stack stones
3. break branches, cut down or damage living or dead trees or bushes
4. digging up plants, picking or collecting mosses or lichens or removing attached algae or woody fungi
5. set up a tent, tarp, windbreak, hammock or similar within areas marked on map appendix 3 to the decision for more than two consecutive days in the same place in other areas
6. within areas marked on the map in Appendix 3 to the decision
7. more than two consecutive days in the same place in other areas
8. anchor or moor a vessel at a jetty
9. anchor or moor a vessel in the same place for more than two consecutive days
10. make fires outside designated areas, other than in barbecues on legs or outdoor kitchens
11. bring an unleashed dog or other pet that is not leashed
12. cause disturbing noise
13. take off or land with manned or unmanned aircraft.Without the permission of the County Administrative Board, it is forbidden to:
14. collect amphibians or reptiles
15. collect insects, spiders, snails, slugs or other invertebrates
16. holding competitions or other events that take place wholly or partly on land with more than 150 participants
17. placing orientation controls, markers, markings or similar
18. carry out scientific studies that involve marking, collecting, trapping or other measures that may have an impact on the natural environment.
