Beskrivelse
On southern Långviksskär, within the Långviksskär Nature Reserve, you will find an entrance area to Nämdöskärgården National Park.
There are information boards with maps and details about the nature and history of the national park.
A former military barracks serves as a rest cabin. Visitors are welcome to step inside for protection from wind and weather. Inside the cabin, photographs offer a glimpse of life on Långviksskär in earlier times.
Just around the corner, a marked hiking trail begins and leads you around the island.
A fire pit is located nearby. Please bring your own firewood if you wish to use it.
The entrance area is located in the small nature reserve Långviksskär. The reserve is surrounded by Nämdöskärgården National Park.

Rutevejledning
Långviksskär is accessible by private boat or taxi boat. There is no regular boat service to the island.
Regler
Welcome as a guest in nature! Follow the rules of the nature reserve and we will help to protect nature.
As a guest in the reserve you are not allowed:
- damage the seabed or lake bed, rock, soil, boulders or stones by, for example, drilling, carving or painting
- remove or stack stones
- break branches, cut down or damage living or dead trees or bushes
- digging up plants, picking or collecting mosses or lichens or removing attached algae or woody fungi
- set up a tent, tarp, windbreak, hammock or similar within areas marked on map appendix 3 to the decision for more than two consecutive days in the same place in other areas
- within areas marked on the map in Appendix 3 to the decision
- more than two consecutive days in the same place in other areas
- anchor or moor a vessel at a jetty
- anchor or moor a vessel in the same place for more than two consecutive days
- make fires outside designated areas, other than in barbecues on legs or outdoor kitchens
- bring an unleashed dog or other pet that is not leashed
- cause disturbing noise
- take off or land with manned or unmanned aircraft.Without the permission of the County Administrative Board, it is forbidden to:
- collect amphibians or reptiles
- collect insects, spiders, snails, slugs or other invertebrates
- holding competitions or other events that take place wholly or partly on land with more than 150 participants
- placing orientation controls, markers, markings or similar
- carry out scientific studies that involve marking, collecting, trapping or other measures that may have an impact on the natural environment.
