Beskrivelse
Skattmyrberget has a dense, old spruce forest. The ground is lush and green, and old decaying trunks lie criss-crossed. High stumps, dead standing trees and lying trunks are perfect homes for wood-living lichens, insects and birds. It can be both wet and difficult to get around.

Rutevejledning
Reservatet ligger ungefär mellan Bräcke och Svenstavik. Det är cirka fem mil att köra från Gällö eller Bräcke, och cirka fyra mil från Svenstavik. En kilometer norr om byn Ocksjön ligger reservatet på östra sidan av vägen.
Regler
Welcome to Skattmyrberget. Keep in mind that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs
- picking and collecting species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
- climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, roost or burrow
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- light a fire
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
