From Åsarna you take the road west towards Ljungdalen. You drive past Börtnan and after about 35 kilometers you can see the nature reserve's information board on the right side of the road. There are also parking facilities.

Welcome to Björnsjöberget. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs,
• pick and collect species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
• climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, roost or burrow
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires, other than with firewood, and
• drive motorized vehicles in terrain except on existing snowmobile trails
