In Bispgården, at Fors church, you drive over the Indalsälven river and then through the villages Österåsen and Västeråsen. Pass the turnoff towards Reva and after another 600 meters turn right along a forest road. Via this forest road you reach the two nearby nature reserves Ygeltjärn and Märatjärnberget.

Within the reserve, it is prohibited to:

• capture, disturb or injure mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and breeding sites or collect eggs
• picking and collecting any species except berries and edible mushrooms
• climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make a fire, other than with firewood
• drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
