In the town of Bräcke, turn east on the road signposted Albacken and Sörbygden. At Sörbygden (after about 45 kilometers) you turn south on road 320. After about 4.6 kilometers at the sign Strandåker you turn west and drive over a bridge. Almost immediately after the bridge you drive south on a small forest road. Continue south and drive along the entire western side of Lill-Tivsjön until you reach a crossroads. There you turn right and drive about 700 meters to a road that goes south. You drive this road for about 1.3 kilometers and then turn right. After another 2 kilometers of driving on this road you have arrived.

Welcome to Kroktjärnen. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs,
• pick and collect species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
• climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, roost or burrow
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires, other than with firewood, and
• drive a motorized vehicle off-road
