Follow the E45 from Strömsund northeast for about 21 kilometers and turn left in Lövberga. Follow road 829 north for about 14 kilometers and then turn left again, up towards the village Kalkberget. Follow the road for about 1.3 kilometers and you will arrive at the nature reserve's parking lot.

Welcome to Kalkberget. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• pick and collect species of any kind, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms,
• climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately damaging or disturbing wildlife,
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires, other than with firewood
• drive a motorized vehicle in terrain on bare ground.
