After a few kilometers you pass Edeforsen on the left and then the reserve begins downstream at Solbergsvattnet. Alternatively, you can reach road 344, which runs along the entire reserve, from road 87 between Stugun and Hammarstrand, and from several smaller roads. Along road 344 there are access roads, parking, information and rest areas.
Regler
Welcome to Ammeråns nature reserve. Keep in mind that in the reserve it is not allowed to:
- climbing trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot
- damage the ground or vegetation, including dry trees and windfalls.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
