Beskrivelse
Montebello was the name of a private summer house and park on a hill near the Pålsundet sound. The house was built in the 1860s by William Lindberg and it was demolished in 1917. Around the grounds, you can still see traces of the park, such as elm, oak, linden and hornbeam trees. The flowering plants here consist of species commonly associated with forest groves, such as spring pea, coral root and unspotted lungwort.
The park is well worth visiting in the spring, when blue common hepatica and white anemone flowers carpet the forest floor. The Blue Trail ("Blå leden") and the Tenö path pass nearby. There is an easily accessible parking lot next to Montebello. Pålsundsbatteriet is also close by. South of Montebello, there is a swimming area and a summer café.

Rutevejledning
By car: Follow the signs to "Tenö varv" from Bogesundsvägen road. After about 200 m, you'll see a parking lot on the left side.
By public transit: The nearest bus stop is Tenövägen.

In order to protect the Bogesundslandet nature reserve, please respect the following rules.
Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage rock, soil or stone by drilling, cutting, blasting, carving, digging, painting or similar,
- break branches, fell or in any other way damage living or dead trees and bushes or damage the vegetation in general by digging up plants,
- bring dogs that are not on a leash,
- camp for more than two consecutive nights outside of designated campsites,
- park a motorhome, caravan or other camping vehicle outside of designated campsites,
- anchor a boat at the same beach for more than two consecutive nights,
- make a fire outside of designated sites,
- put up signs, posters or similar,
- bike outside of designated bicycling trails while cycling off road,
- ride horses off road or outside of designated horse trails.
