The reserve covers a large forest area located two kilometers north of Häverö.

There is no parking lot next to the reserve.

The nearest bus stops are Lindersberg and Veda by, about 1.7 and 1.5 km walk from the southern and northern parts of the reserve respectively. Search for travel on SL - Storstockholms lokaltrafik.

To protect the Kamsmosskogen nature reserve, there are rules you must follow.

In the reserve it is forbidden to

1. drill, hack, blast, carve, dig, paint or in any way damage rock, soil or stone
2. felling or damaging living or dead trees and bushes or removing dead wood
3. dig up plants such as rice and herbs, or remove mosses, lichens or woody fungi (picking edible mushrooms is allowed)
4. drive a motorized vehicle off-road on both snow-covered and bare ground.
