Beskrivelse
Norra Kölen is a small reserve with an old-growth forest . This is very rare to find this near the coast. The forest is well worth a visit but there are no roads all the way to the reserve. The area is 0.2 square kilometres.

There is no road leading al the way to the reserve. The best way to get here is via Vitå and Brännan.
Rutevejledning
There is no road that reaches all the way to the reserve. The best way to get to the reserve is via Vitå village and Brännan. A turn-off at Vitå marked "Brännan" can be driven about two kilometers, then you take a forest road to the right, if your car can handle it. The end of the road becomes more of a path. There is an open area to leave your car. The forest is winding and not so easy to walk.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camp
- make fires, but remember to burn only dead branches and twigs and not to make a stone ring
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- Hunting in accordance with applicable laws
Among other things, it is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
