Konstslingan i Spjutaretorp

This trail is a digital experience and must be followed in Naturkartan using GPS guidance. There are no physical markers or signs in the landscape. Some of the artworks are located very close to one another, so you may need to zoom in within the app to distinguish between the links.

About the area

A number of enthusiasts live and work in this area, creating not only art for sale but also art from nature itself, using stones, painting on stones, and working in harmony with the natural surroundings. This form of art can be described as land art or boulder painting.

New artworks sometimes appear, while others may gradually become hidden as nature reclaims them. Yet for those who are curious and willing to explore, they can always be found. The landscape around Spjutaretorp is truly distinctive, and visitors are welcome to wander or cycle gently through this unique and magical environment. Perhaps the stones are petrified creatures from ancient times, perhaps one day they will come to life again?

Parking and toilets

You can begin the Art Trail wherever you like and finish wherever you choose. However, you are welcome to park at Stensjöäng. A toilet is also available in the barn. Please feel free to enter through the large doors.
