Preserved as it was in the movies, Katthult still stands still on the farm in Gibberyd. Here you step right into the movies about Emil in Lönneberga. Walk around the houses and experience the magic of the filming location.

Småland, a landscape full of stories, attracted the film crew from Svensk Filmindustri in the 1970s. They were looking for a "proper Småland farm", because that's what Astrid Lindgren decided.

The farm has tried to be kept as it originally looked when the movies were filmed in the early 70s. The farm has a few animals and the iconic house with the flagpole is one of Sweden's most photographed.
