Beskrivelse

Originally, the embankment was located at Regelåsen, not far from the turning area after the recently broken road. There are still traces of house foundations and cellars. After a lightning strike, most of the old rampart burned down. At least one cottage (probably Lassa's) has been moved from the old embankment. The house on "Skrottan" comes from the old embankment. According to the deed from the "Great Partition" in 1761-1771, there are two land areas marked for the property Ede no 7 (today 6:7) that belonged to the property. The names are: Bonnansmyran and Storbruket. This must be on the old embankment.

The current embankment was divided in 1943-44 and established in 1945 according to the current map (85, Sept. 19, 1945 Norra Hälsinglands Domsaga). The embankment belonged to Ede and Stömne villages. Also to some extent Hammarsvall.

Cows were kept on the embankment until the early 40s. Magnus-Orsas-Margit was probably the last herdsman. Magnus-Orsas also had a shop in his cottage and sold, among other things, biscuits, sugar, coffee and sparkling wine.

The valley servants often visited Råbergsvallen, but also Järvsövallarna.

The day of the feast was June 10. In the past, the village alderman decided when the bowing would take place, which may also have been announced in the church.

The last time Pårs-Maj-Britt took part in a bowing ceremony was the first time a wheelbarrow with rubber wheels was used.

The first time a car came to the embankment was when Mobergs-Olle came to slaughter a cow that had crawled under a barn at Rönningen and got stuck in the hunt for a sack of salt. This happened around 1938-39.

Gamla vägen was used then.

To be allowed to have cows on the embankment, you had to have so-called mule pasture, i.e. a piece of pasture on the embankment.

Gelebacken is the name of a hill west of the embankment down towards Härån. The name comes from the fact that a maid named Gölin was killed by a buck there. (maybe it was her ? 35M2 Gölin Pehrsdotter, 1797. immig. from Ljusdal. G. 1820. † 10/6 1829).

Vargensbruka was a meadow (possibly once with some building) that was mowed until the 30s. It belonged to Sjömyra village. It was located just where Stybbergsmyran flows under the current road (on the east side of the road).

After the path to Gäddvik on one of the vallallmänningen there are marks in the rock slope as if goats had walked there while the rock was still soft.
