Beskrivelse
Skattlösbergs Bywas established in the 1600's and is today part of the Skattlösberg Nature Reserve. The village is often referred to as the “Capital of Finnmarken” and consists of around ten farmsteads situated on a hillside.
Two marked hiking trails surround the nature reserve, and a trail map is available via the County Administrative Board (Länsstyrelsen) website.
Located in the village isLuossastugan, the memorial cottage ofDan Andersson. The cottage belonged to the Andersson family 1912 to 1915.
During the summer, guided musical performances about Dan Andersson’s life and poetry are held at the cottage. Every year in early August, Dan Andersson Week concludes with the Luossa Festival at Luossastugan.
Accessibility: The walk from the parking lot to Luossastugan is approximately 800 metres. The path is not accessible by car.

800 metre walk from the car parking to the cottage
Parkering
It is 800 meters to walk from the parking lot to Luossastugan and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the cottage. It is not possible to drive to the cabin.
