Vinterskogens naturreservat

The reserve is most easily reached from Dalvägen, between Vårsta and Tumba, in Botkyrka municipality. There is a nature reserve sign by the road just before you get to Vårsta center when you come from Tumba. There you can also get off the bus, bus stop "Bergudden". Then follow the road west down to the parking lot at Brotorpsbadet. Vinterskogen is also accessible from surrounding residential areas.

In order to protect the natural and cultural values of the Vinterskogen nature reserve, special regulations apply. Among other things, it is forbidden to damage land, plants, trees or wildlife, to ride outside riding trails and to have dogs unleashed between March 1 and September 30 throughout the reserve.

Leashes are required on exercise trails and marked trails all year round, and dogs are not allowed at the Brosjön bathing area.

Some activities, such as longer camping, larger events or the erection of signs, require the municipality's permission. If you are planning an activity that contravenes the regulations, you need to apply for a permit or exemption in advance.
