Utsiktsplats Folkparksberget

From Folkparksberget you have a good view. In the old days, you could see the shipping lane that ran below. The view has changed over the years. The old Optimus factory built in 1908 was located below and later Optimusvallen which was the home arena for Väsby IK from the 30s until the end of the 60s. Some spectators gathered on Folkparksberget, which was then called "snikberget", to watch the matches without paying admission. Today you can enjoy nature and the view of Ed's church from the viewpoint. The mountain is now a nature park with several old pine trees. Sit down at the picnic table and enjoy the view!
