STF Grinda Hotell & Sea Lodge

Grinda lies in the heart of the Stockholm archipelago. Its location close to the city has made it a beloved establishment in the best sense of the word. The old restaurant built in 1906 is a well-known landmark for sailors and visitors alike.

At Grinda you’ll find a variety of verandas, dining rooms, and bars to choose from. In Wärdshusets grand dining room, with its sea views, countless legendary guests have enjoyed fine food and drinks over the years. The wine cellar is generous in both size and quality. Here, traditional Swedish archipelago cuisine takes center stage. At the harbor restaurant Framfickan, you’ll find simpler yet equally tasty dishes, live music, and a magnificent sunset. Framfickan’s large wooden deck by the sea is a natural gathering spot for boaters and island visitors alike.

The hotel offers 28 modern double rooms and two King Size rooms, all stylishly decorated. The rooms are located in an annex next to the Wärdshus. On the southern side of the island, Grinda Sea Lodge offers a simpler but equally charming accommodation. Read more about the different options under the “More about the accommodation.”

At the country store with adjoining café, you’ll find most of what you need – and you can also order a meal kit to your accommodation or boat. The bakery offers freshly baked bread and buns from early morning.
