Beskrivelse
Stenmursparken is a park located between Fornminnesvägen and Allévägen in central Vallentuna. Next to the park is Kantarellen preschool and Väsbygården nursing home.
The park was upgraded to a "fruit park" in the fall of 2020. Apple trees, berry bushes, a butterfly bed area and insect attracting perennials were planted out in the park.
The aim is to promote biodiversity, especially insects and birds, and to provide a beautiful place for recreation and experiences for all ages, where visitors can eventually pick berries and apples for their own use. Several insect and bird boxes have also been installed in the park. Accessible park sofas and bench tables are also available in the park.
The park was named Stone Wall Park in spring 2021, as it has not previously had an official name. The name refers to the old stone wall that runs along the park.
