From the viewing platform in the eastern part of the wetland, you can watch a variety of birds throughout the year. Of course, the busiest time is in the spring when all the migrating birds stop over. Then you have the opportunity to see teal, whooper swan, greenlegs and woodcock. But there are also those who nest in and near the wetland, such as mallard, goldeneye, gray and Canada goose, crane, lesser spotted woodpecker, snipe and lapwing. Remember that during the summer the land is grazed by cattle. Use the stiles instead of opening the electric gates.
