Snäckstaviks våtmark

The Snäckstavik wetland has been restored to create a good spawning environment for the archipelago's dwindling population of pike and as a resting and nesting place for birds. Spring is the time of year when activity is at its peak. This is when the pike go up to the wetland to spawn and many migratory birds cross the valley, some of which rest in the wetland and its vicinity. Birds such as whooper swans, brown harriers, snipe and others are often seen here. Feel free to visit the birdwatching plateau where you get a good view when you watch birds.
