Skälsätra

Skälsätra is one of the best preserved sports lodge areas in the Stockholm area from the period 1920-50. Skälsätra is an exciting cultural-historical environment that has been strongly characterized by the association Kulturella folkdansgillet. The members built up a sports lodge area in the early 1900s and as the crowning glory they built a gathering place in the National Romantic style - the Solsäter guild lodge, which the county administrative board had declared a cultural monument in spring 2012. Every midsummer, celebrations are organized with dancing both around the midsummer pole and on the dance floor.
