**God, help me to look at myself with your eyes. Preserve me as the apple of your eye.

Aren't two sparrows sold for a copper coin? But none of them falls to the ground without your father knowing about it. And on you even the hairs of your head are numbered. So do not be afraid: you are worth more than a few sparrows. Matthew 10:29-31

Sometimes it's hard to believe that you are actually good enough as you are. In the text, Jesus tells us that we don't need to be afraid, that we are infinitely valuable and that God is with us. Jesus says that not even a sparrow falls to the ground without God knowing about it. In Greek, in which the text was originally written, the words could also mean: "not one of them falls to the ground without your father falling too". A four-year-old girl proudly shows off her latest drawing and says: "You care about what you have created!".

Imagine if we dared to believe that God is just as good! That God also cares about his creation. What if I dared to believe that I am created by a love so strong that I can never be outside it, neither in life nor in death. Dare to believe that I am created uniquely, in the image and likeness of God, infinitely loved and precious. Nothing can take that away from me. I must hold my head high. And if I fall, God falls with me. Because God cares about what God creates. So also me.
