Parken Lägret

Between Kungsgatan and Hamngatan in central Vaxholm is Lägret park. In addition to large grass areas, the park has a public playground, boules court and adjacent tennis court. Along the northern part there is a double-sided lime avenue.

The green structure and the nature close to the urban area give a growing population the opportunity for a good living environment where urban spaces and parks with meeting places provide opportunities for meetings between people. Vaxholm's nature and recreation areas are also important for biodiversity.
