Nyckelvandringen

Embarking on a pilgrimage is as much about an external as an internal journey. Through the seven keys of pilgrimage, you are given tools to reflect on your inner journey. The key walk is named after these seven keys and during the walk you will pass places that are particularly good for a moment of reflection on life's both big and small questions.

The key walk takes you past the castle park, John Bauerskogen and along Lake Albysjön. You pass rapids, boatmen's cottages, frog ponds, and a hollow oak that once contained a kiosk where snuff and sweets were sold. The surroundings vary between residential area, forest, and open pastures.

When you feel ready to move on, take a deep breath and pray the prayer of all pilgrims, formulated by St. Bridget:

Lord, show me your way and make me willing to walk it.
