Kajakuthyrning, Kayakomat i Alby friluftsområde

Alby friluftsgård at Albysjön is the center for outdoor life in Tyresö. Here you will find swimming, barbecue areas, hiking trails, exercise trails and large grass areas for various activities.

The outdoor area is located in the middle of a nature reserve with valuable nature and several interesting cultural-historical environments, including Uddby farm and Ahlstorp's boatman's cottage.

There are two parking lots about 500 meters from Albybadet, one with access from Alby skogsväg and one with access from Prästgårdsvägen.

Bus 873 towards Nyfors runs all the way to Alby friluftsgård during the summer months.

By car you can get to Alby friluftsområde from two directions. It is signposted from Myggdalsvägen and from Tyresövägen at the exit towards Gimmersta. There are parking lots at the end of Alby skogsväg and at the end of Prästgårdsvägen.

Detailed description by car: from Nynäsvägen (road 73), take road 229 towards Tyresö. At the end of the highway, you can either turn off towards Tyresö C or follow Tyresövägen further in the direction of Tyresö slott.

If you are heading towards Tyresö C, turn left onto Myggdalsvägen, then left onto Alby skogsväg which leads to a large parking lot.

If you continue towards Tyresövägen, take the exit towards Gimmersta and follow the road all the way to the end of Alby skogsväg.

By bus: bus 873 from Gullmarsplan towards Nyfors. At the end stop signposted towards Alby.

The purpose of the reserve is to preserve animal and plant life and to preserve and develop the natural and cultural environments. The area is also to be used for outdoor life, recreation and education.

Rules and regulations apply in nature reserves. For example, you may only light fires and barbecue at designated and prepared barbecue areas. Other places are prohibited.
