Upplevelsestråket - Hammarby - 2,7 km

With Upplevelsestråket you can get close to nature and experiences in the municipality in an easy way. The trail runs along the old waterways between Saltsjön and Mälaren, which were already used for transportation in Viking times.

The route is divided into twelve stages and has a total length of just over 40 kilometers.

The Hammarby section winds through a beautiful meadow landscape. Hammarby Church, which dates back to the 13th century, is located on Stockholmsvägen. Hammarby is one of the three original parishes that today make up Upplands Väsby municipality. There are several rune stones here, as well as a series of ponds for purifying stormwater in a cycle with nature.

The experience trail is a collaborative project between Upplands Väsby municipality, associations and landowners.
