Grön målpunkt - Folke Bernadottes bro

On September 17, 2019, a new bridge over Djurgårdsbrunnsviken was inaugurated. The bridge runs between the museums and Rosendal Castle. Starting from the bridge, there are many great nature experiences in the strong cultural environment. Djurgårdsbrunnsviken's eastern part has a rich bird life with nesting great crested grebe and fishing herons. On the south side, east of Rosendal Castle, there is a nice nature walk along the beach. Southeast of the bridge is the hill "Storjakten" with wild pine forest.

Obvious places to visit are Rosendal Castle and Garden. Standing on the bridge itself gives a nice view in all directions. The bridge creates nice round walks for both east and west. It is close to bike paths and seating is available on both sides of the bridge.
